when I click on a photo in My Pictures it insists on opening in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0 (I didn't even know I had this but I assume it came with Photoshop Elements 3). I'm given the option of opening in Windows Picture Viewer, which I want (quicker and less 'noisy' to look at), but have to do it every time. Where can I change the default to Picture Viewer? I've got Windows XP.

Isn't The Full Monty a brilliant film?

Ladysmith black mambazo, yes we love it , I bought the CD for Mr N years ago when we saw Paul Simon making it there.

I think the frescos in that church have been restored quite a bit, woofy, it looks impossibly fresh.
Yes very bright and new. i think that traditionally churches would have been repainted to keep them looking fresh so maybe not restored so much as continually cared for.
I am a Ladysmith Black Mambazo fan as well.

a favourite of mine

That's Lovely Woofy! I'm ready for my bed now and that really is beautiful music to go to be on.
Oight oight Everybiddy! See you tomorrow. Drs. appointment at 8 flipping 20 for me :)
yes very soothing Jude, sleep well and give the doctor hell!

bah, another bout of all-night insomnia; at least I have watched a couple of Japanese DVDs. It'll be annoying if I fall asleep while the man's working on the hall, though. I'll tell him it was because I was watching the paint dry...
I posted an answer to you at 06.30 jno, I had a broken night too, not sure why as I was whacked and the dogs were sleeping like angels.
Morning!

I slept like the veritable log. Mousey on my foot and I let her out at 6am. Poor Mr. N feels yukky today I suspect its all the paint fumes as he has been sleeping in there the whole time.

Furniture is in garage, maybe we'll do it later.
I'll share this with you - I know I'm no Saint but to name a storm after me is a bit much!! (the Derby Telegraph front page)

Good morning all. Got home from the Drs. at 9.30. after 8.20 appointment. I was starving hungry as I didn't have any breakfast before I went.

Have to get cracking now cleaning up and catching up from yesterday. Willsort photos later.
Dr.said stay on 3 tabs a day and go back in another month...people will be talking!
I was just coming on here to ask if Jude the Storm had arrived yet, I see she has.

St Jude's the patron saint of lost causes, so perhaps that's the only hope the luckless people of Derby have... is this the same storm that was going to sweep across the south? I thought that was just going from Cornwall to Kent. Or are there going to be lots of Monday storms disembowelling us all?

I'll probably be too sleepy to care, though I have caught up one uncomfortable hour on the sofa.
We would love a storm, it is so sticky, we are all failing with it, shops got the air con blasting out again.

Mr N still not feeling good, so he's just lolling. I do wish he would buck up and sort the house out, I want it neat and tidy now. Am not doing anything in the bedroom until the furniture is back in there too. Just bought 2 new cushions for the bed, in a pinky/mauve, tones beautifully!!
Good moaning...Robinia, the patron saint of lost marbles. :)
Bright 'n breezy after a dark wet start and we're on a warning for high winds and rain this weekend. I think I'll have to wear my weighted boots or I'll be like the leaf woman in the little video and end up in Norfolk. Yesterday was just glorious, so warm and sunny....I'll pray to my gods to send more of that.
I don't do 'A' god anymore, I'm more into nature, elements and seasons nowadays...and these modern happy clappy services and tuneless hymns leave me cold. I believe, as my hippy friend said, we can create our own gods from our own energy and that as a combined force can be powerful. I'm convinced buildings absorb energy and think that's what I (for one) can feel when we're in churches, castles etc. I'd love to create a mini stonehenge in the garden and waft around it at regular intervals to freak out the (religious) neighbours, haha. If my local churches come asking for funds I'll tell them to go and pray for some, if their god wants them to have church he'll send the cash.
And now I'm off to put in a cosmic order for the save Robi fund....tut, I said I wasn't going to do the new lotto.
and again my post vanishes. I said I used to have a picture of St Jude over my desk at work. We had a rep for getting people who wanted to leave hospital and go home, home and living safely when others said it couldn't be done.
This morning we had a minor win here. Did I tell you that Rab hates the jingly noise of the bottle recycling collection? Well today i put the dogs in the car and we went shopping so we weren't here when they came. Tesco was well stocked with not many people and the dogs had a nice snooze instead of being wound up. They only come every four weeks so even if we go out when they collect in the adjoining road as well its not a huge effort.
I don't blame him woofy, I hate that noise too...even worse though are the clowns who decide to throw their empties in bins after I've gone to bed.
I think your hippy friend was right Robi. I think I created 'whoever is looking after me' in my energy and mind. I also feel a quiet calm in churches. Don't ask me why I just do. I also say to anyone discussion religions with me that 'Whatever helps people through their lives then I have respect for them and so be it as long as they respect my way too!'
Well I'm going to order a cosmic thunderbolt from on high .We've now got to have a look at our deeds in case the levy wasn't pointed out to us when we bought the property. I can't remember it being mentioned on the searches. We'll have to see but if not we'll have to pay, notify the Land Registry and hopefully that'll be the end of it. . Mr S is very much in huffen and puffen mode !
We need all this bloody aggro like a hole in the head.
But it's bright and breezy after a dull start and the chest freezer has arrived .
Hope you're all Ok .

well, just had a nice bag of Tesco Finest crisps, and it even tells you on the back which field they come from. One does like to have one's snacking properly sourced and not just flung together in a Bangladeshi sweatshop.
Totally agree jude, whatever gets people through as long as they don't hurt others. I never discuss religion or politics!
