i had this on my old computer and still never fouind out why. so i down loaded firefox,. and that worked fine so it was just ie being stupid plus if firefox does crash u can just restore the last session, which if u have a few windows open is much easier than trying to go through your history to find what u had open.
however i would also suggest doing a virus/spyware scan just in case thats what is causing the problem.
Cheers KT84 I'll try firefox. It also seems to be something to do with Adobe Flash. Its asked me to update and I have, twice, but as I say its still happening.
Thanks again.
well sorry i couldnt tell u what the actuall problem is, but atleast using an alterantive program means that you wont need to struggle with IE untill u find out what is wrong.
had the same prob , never new why.
now changed isp from tesco to aol and i still use i.e instead of aol's browser, but now don't get the message any more.....strange!
