Tonight I had a window suddenly pop up saying that I should accept "errorsafe" to guard my registry on my computer. I did not accept it. I just clicked onto the X in the top right hand corner.

Does anyone here know anything about this "errorsafe"?

ErrorSafe is a Security Risk that may give exaggerated reports of threats on the computer. The program then prompts the user to purchase a registered version of the software in order to remove the reported threats.
Unfortunately, with many of these popups, clicking ANY part of them (including the X in the top right-hand corner) can trigger a download and install.

In case you have accidentally installed it, I suggest you install SpyBot Search and Destroy. This should detect and remove it.
