clock out of sync

for some reason unknown to me my computer clock is losing its correct time every time i switch on the comp (i use the comp daily) it can be 10 hours out, the firewall is ok ,the clock is set to adjust by internet time, but i have to do this manually.it has not done this in the 3 years i have had the comp.it is spyware and virus free any clues? i have avg comodo adaware spybot spywareblaster installed

my first thought would be that the battery on your motherboard is duff. Where have you set your computers location to be?
lol i was just going to come in a say that the CMOS battery needs changed too lol

it should be a flat CR2302 battery you can buy anywhere.
