No sound on Youtube

Can anyone help? I cannot get any sound from youtube videos, yet everything works fine on other sites and applications, eg Windows Media Player.

Youtube uses Flash to play files. Try updating your installation, here:

Thanks Chris, I did as you said and updated to the latest flash software, but still no sound. Must be some other setting I need to find.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've only just spotted your answer. If you're using Internet Explorer, check that there are ticks alongside the relevant places under Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia. If that doesn't work, try switching to another browser, such as Firefox.
