I would like to know how to protect my laptop when I go into a marina and log into the wireless stream along with all the other boats I know how to do it if it is in the house but not outside

are you using your internet or a wireless hot spot


if its a hot spot you lap top should be fine as it connection thro a router type thing

Just make sure you have a firewall running, as well as antivirus software.

That's about the best you can do.
