Thanks for your prompt reply,I've done as you said, but I only get the option of one picture per sheet .Have I missed something?
This is what I get:

You press the Printer icon and get a "Welcome to the Photo Printing Wizard". Press Next.

You get a "Printing Options" page where you can choose the printer. You can also select Printing Preferences to select the paper size etc. Then press Next

You get a "Layout selection" page, and on the left is an "Available Layouts" area.

Slide the slider up and down and you get options like Full Page Prints, Contact Sheet Prints, 20x25cm prints, Wallet prints and so on.

Choose the page layout you want and select "Number of times to use each picture" as 6.

Once you get to the end your page should print.

It MAY be because you are printing on 6x4 paper you dont get all the same options as I do.

If you want to cut each picture out you dont HAVE to print on 6x4 paper.

Try printing on normal size A4 paper and choose say "Wallet size" and 6 pictures and see if that gives you the right result.

I have been trying to keep away from the A4 option, but it seems that I have to take that route and use the off-cut as 6"x4".I've now got to the final stage as you described,I want the pics.to be size 40mmX30mm,but i can't find anywhere in the prog. to size them. Thanks again for your very helpful answers!!!
