Other Computer Users
Hi there, around three months ago we got a new family computer. This time round each family member has their own account. However it was brought to my attention that my daughter has been using a p2p program. I wish to stop her from doing this as, i am guesing she is doing something illegal.
Can anyone suggest a program that will enable me to stop her using these type of programs?

If each user has their own account set YOUR account as the Administrator with Administrator privileges.
Then set every other account as a Limited account rather than a Administrator. This is easy to do.
A person who has Limited capabilities cannot install any programs.
So first uninstall the offending programs, then set her as a limited account, then she will not be able to install anything.
It is important that ALL Administrator accounts you have are password protected, and that only YOU know the password.
If your daughter, or any other family member, has an Administrator account then she may well log on as that to install the programs.
