Does anyone know where to find an Ohm symbol for use in Word? As its not in the standard bank of symbols in my version.

If you go along the tools menu the second tools menu (sorry I'm doing this from memory) i believe should have an insert then symbol option...there should be loads there to choose from...

Lol, yeah sorry I've not made it very clear, I'm wondering if there's a place I can download extra symbols such as the Ohm one among others.
have you tried looking for it in 'insert pictures'? You may be able to download from there?
Its definitely there in Office 2003. Try INSERT, then SYMBOL and scroll down until you find it.
It says its CHARACTER CODE is 2126. Shortcut is ALT+X

Hi, its 2002 that I have, its not there unfortunately.
if it's just one character
goto
start menu | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Character Map

select
font = ariel
character set = unicode
group by = all

scroll down 1 screen - it is four characters in from the right
double click the character
copy .... and then paste into your document

if you are trying to create a formuls ... use the formula editor

Have you tried holding down the Alt key and typing 234 ? it works for me: Ω
