task bar

can anyone tell me how to put a short cut on to the task bar please. im a bit dim. thanx

Go to Start > Programs.

Right-click on the relevant program and select 'Create shortcut'.

The shortcut will appear in your list of programs with a '2' after it. Drag the shortcut onto the desktop.

Then drag the shortcut, from the desktop, onto the 'quick launch' area, on the left side of the taskbar.
