send and receive

i have the send and receive button back but now when i read my emails there is only a little space where they appear at the bottom. it semms to have shrunk

Do you mean you are just seeing the preview pane???

Assuming you are using Outlook Express..

Click View then Layout...under Preview Pane there are options...play about with ticking various combinations then apply after each one.

You can't do any harm with this because it just changes how you view mails...you can always change back to previous layout.
