Hi, I am about to move my computer to another room. Before doing so should I clean it as through the perspex side I can see lots of dust.I had in mind using a soft brush together with the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner as an extractor. Or should I not chance it. Thanks for any help

Only use the vacuum if it has a low power option.

A can of compressed air is the recommended way (from any PC shop) - but it is an excellent idea to clean it, especially around the fan, particularly if you smoke or have pets.

Thanks Ethel , That website you sent explains it all. It advises cleaning 3-4 times a year. No wonder I have a lot of dust, mine hasnt been cleaned since I bought it 2 years ago. I'll wait till I can get out to buy some compressed air.(I doubt that fly spray would work !!!) Thanks again
