My best friend recently purchased Kazaa Platinum at http://www.kazaa-platinum.com

It also gave her free MP3 / Ipods & CD burning transfer softwares.

She says there are more search results than any other music download company

Has anyone else tried it ?

kazaa used to be full of viruses and spyware, I havent touched it in years

limewire seems to be good tho

I already tried Limewire. It completely destroyed my hard disk, cuz it is not adware & spyware free like Kazaa Platinum.

I had to format my hard disk & reinstall windows.

I need a couple of more comments, before I purchase Kazaa Platinum.

If you're going to break the law, why pay someone for a service that is freely available?

1) I agree with the above. It's still illegal, you're just paying for something that the others get for free. Sounds daft to me.

2) It's still kazaa, and still as susceptible to viruses and the like as ever.

i tried kazaa and limewire... they were the downfall of my first computer..

now i use torrents.. it just seems alot easier to get full albums, and have more downloading at once for less searching.. also there are less viruses.,. thats my belief anyways
