Trouble with netwark security

I keep getting an alert from my McFee security centre that I'm not protected on Internet and email and when I went to Network Manager it told me I was conected to a metwork that can't be trusted (don't know what the hell the network is) could anyone help me resove this and get off whatever network has got in.
