Laptop keeps updating/saving when typing

Hi, when i am typing into windows word (or any other document for that matter) my laptop seems to save what i have just written, this puts the cursor to another part of the document. It means i could be typing (and not looking at the screen) then suddenly i am typing over text i had written 2 paragraphs before.

Is there somewhere in the laptop setting that will stop this occuring?

hmmm strange one, try going to options - save and changing the auto save option, maybe turn it off and see if that cures it.
