internet explorer

i keep getting a message saying internet explorer has encountered a a problem and needs to close down. then goes to my desk top, its happening more and more, (been going on for about a week now) and its when i go onto a different topic on ab, anyone any ideas why please? thanks

I don't know why it happens, but I had the same problem a few months back. I solved it by getting rid of IE and downloading Firefox...............never had a problem since.

Having exactly the same problem with Mozilla Firefox at the moment.

try reinstalling internet explorer again. preferably IE 7. you can get it form microsoft updates site. or if you like click the link below and it will take you straight there and you can down load it..

NOTE

ie 7 is more technical to ie 6 but once your used to it it will be easy to use

If you are running Norton as your anti-virus then try changing. I used to have the same problems and now with Bitdefender it's much better.

Something quick and simple that may help is to clear the cache - Tools, Options, Temporary Internet Files - Delete Files.
