I am trying to insert a 2 point border in Word but the only options I am given are either 1 or 2. Can anyone tell me how to get exactly 2 pts please? It is revision for an exam which is why I have to be exact.

The only way I think you can do this adding a border using auto shape then right click for format auto shape and you can select the dashes etc and 2 point i layout select behind text

Thanks Yvonne, I was able to do it as you suggested. The thing is I was asked to create a new paragraph style including this border so I don't know that I would be allowed to do it your way.
