Seagate barracuda
Hello, I have a seagate barracuda 7200.7 SATA 160gb hard drive. My computer knows its 160 gig but it only shows 37. could anyone please help me figure out why and how to correct this? Thank You.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Is there a typo in your question? A 137Gb limitation is a well-known problem (but I've not heard of a 37Gb one). In case you meant to type 137Gb, here's the answer from Seagate:

Remember that, even when everything is working properly, the reported size of any drive is always less than the size on the box. This is due to differences between the decimal and binary definitions of 'Giga'. So you'll never get the reported figure up to 160Gb:
