Something wrong with my Microsoft Word Document!

Hi all, I've just opened my uni files through Microsoft Word and have noticed that all of the text has gone weird!

Instead of a space between the words there is a full stop instead! When I go to delete it and press the 'space bar' to type the next word, the full stop will come back again!

Another thing, at the end of each paragraph there is a funny looking symbol (2 horizontal line with a little curve on the top!) Anybody have a clue what might have caused this or how can get rid of it? Thanks to all

Yes,
you may have to check the page layout settings. It may be under view and then check the tick against all characters.
What you are seeing is the spacing info and paragraph info. Hope this helps.
Hi Sonak,

Look at the symbols on the bar at the top of your document. Look for _ what looks like a P but backwards) when you put your mouse over it, it should say SHOW/HIDE, at some point you must have clicked on it, so just click it again to DESELECT it. This should solve your problem. Good luck.
