not certain I fully understand any problem
VAT, sales tax import duty ..... whatever it's called is governed by the country the purchaser lives in.
many british sites also play the numbers game
Many suppliers advertise the pre VAT price and then you have postage so by the time you get the goods .... you've payed 10 (or more) on top of the price you saw
I buy kit from all over the world .... and it realy depends what you are buying and how much it costs.
America is terrible .... because by the time you've payed duty, shipping .... blah blah .... things work out the same (or more)
Hong kong/Singapore however ... will generally make the best deal they can for you .... an item worth 18
Item costs 1p, tax = 0 postage 18.00 tot = 18.01
done "properly" item costs 18, postage 5 duty 5
so what exactly is the problem you have - is it price, quality import duty - or the company not delivering the goods?
