connecting another laptop to the internet.
2 Answers
I have a wireless network and can connect up to the internet from both my main computer and my lap top.
Both my cable modem and my wireless router are next to my main computer, in an upstairs room.
I had a visitor the other day who wanted, to connect to the internet on his computer. While it recognised my network and one of my neighbours, on the later it came up with the window in which he could have entered the pass word if he had known it.
But on my network it would not come up with the window in which to enter my pass word.
It just came up with an error message, saying that it could not recognise my network.
Could anyone please tell me why this is?
