Problems with Internet Explorer
Over this weekend I have several times received a notice on screen, just after calling up a different webpage, that IE has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. I then get the option of sending or not sending an error message. I close it down, re-open it right away , and it is fine, till i move to another webpage, then it happens again. What is happening?

(although ... if you can't hit the page ... how are you supposed to know that???)
many of the download sites are having problems with incompatible code after a recent IE security patch.
(I hate to say this but...) try firefox or opera
this version doesn't need installing

so you can "try before you buy" (so to speak) a full version of this free prog.

Try running internet explorer without any add ons.
In xp >start>programmes>accessories>system tools>internet explorer no add ons.
If this works ok you will know it is an add on causing the problem.
Then we can go from there if you want to continue using the add ons. post back and i will tell you how to find the culprit.
