Minimized windows name problem

When I minimize a window to the bottom of the desktop, for some reason it is only showing the first letter of the description of the minimized item instead of the full heading. Any advice on rectifying this appreciated.

the buttons size themselves according to the available space.
but also right click the taskbar | properties
is the group similar buttons ticked?

This happens if you have too many minimised windows.

You could try making the taskbar taller.

Thanks for suggestions but no use. It happens with only one minimized item so not too many items. The group similar button is ticked.
