Recycling a scanner and printer .

Hope this is right section , we have just bought a 3 in one so have a scanner and printer which are working and too good to bin , Computers for Charity won't take them , so any idea if there is a charity that takes them ?? Thanks .

Also the cost of replacement inks is often greater than the cost of a new printer.
I bought a cheap Epson ink jet in Tescos the other day for about �38, but it is very noisy.
When the ink runs out I will probably replace it with a different printer rather than buy news inks.
Like it or not we are in the era of disposable printers.
