This camcorder came with bundle Cyberlink software which worked fine Windows XP . I am now using Vista & this software doesn't appear to work & cannot be updated at the Cyberlink website - or so I think.
Can anyone advise on either updating somehow or recommend another programme for a HDD camcorder?

You shouldn't need any additional software - just plug it in and treat it as a removable hard disk

Thanks rojash but the software referred to is for editing & transferring to DVD. The Windows Movie Maker will not recognise the HDD camcorder so it looks as if I'll need some differant software.

Thanks again. I tried there & that's where i think I found that my Cyberlink software was not Vista compatable & not updateable. JVC have only an 0870 phone & their literature say to contact Cyberlink. I'm looking for other editing software that will handle HDD on my JVC Everio (preferably free if poss).
Did you have any luck with the vista problem as I have exactly the same problem!I don`t want to install xp over my vista but I`ve tried everyother option.
