programs open on there own

Does anyone know why when my computer is on and I'm not using it that some programs open on there own like Outlook & windows media player doesn't seem to do this when I'm on the computer I have AVG anti-virus plus ZoneAlarm and Ad-Aware I've used all these programs to check for spyware but I still have this problem it only happens now and again should I worry ?

Do you have any speech recognition software installed on your PC? I had the same problem because my microphone was always on and because when I spoke it thought I was asking for the programs to open. I'd be watching a film and all these different programs would open up for no reason.
