i have just had refilled ink cartridges in my lexmarkx1190. the printer wont work at all and it a message says the ink is low but both cartridges are full. can anyone help.

I think lexmark do this to prevent refils, you could try looking around printer forums to see if there's a solution perhaps a way to tweak the lexmark program to trick it! If I find anything I'll drop in again. good luck!
Bad news I'm afraid, it means getting a 'chip resetter' as shown here http://www.jettecjetset.com/resetter.asp
I suppose once you have one thats it for good. Sorry for bad news :(
Just realised it says for Epson cartridges but if you contact them (top right of page) they'll explain whats what.

i have just found out that the cartridge itself is damaged so i am taking it back to the shop as it is their fault.i've just spoke to some idiot on the phone who does not know what he is talking about.my printer was working perfect till i had the cartridge refilled. thank for your help anyway.
