I used to use century gothic (or was it the other way round!) as my preferred font when typing out documents, but since having my computer wiped to free up memory/space, and now use OpenOffice.org. Writer instead of Microsoft Word, I'm unable to access it. Is it possible to add the old style again, and if so - how? Thank you.

Thank you very much both of you. It is me, btw (Ice.Maiden) - and these were very helpful.
actually not that usefull ... the download links are all broken (that'll teach me!!)

century gothic is a comercial font ... and so isn't available for download......
it would be rather naughty to copy the files from another machine ....
the files to avoid therefore are
c:\windows\fonts\gothic.ttf
c:\windows\fonts\gothicb.ttf
c:\windows\fonts\gothicbi.ttf
c:\windows\fonts\gothici.ttf

Thanks-but they were useful actually. I've taken some of the examples to copy (in handwriting). There's some nice lettering there, but again, thanks for going to all the trouble for me.
