You need a converter such as imtoo avi to dvd converter. Can be downloaded on mininova, but be careful, many software torrents bring viruses in so check out comments before downloading. Also scan with your anti virus and anti spyware before opening the file. I got a good clean copy, I`ll see if it`s still seeding and let you know.
Couldn`t find it, but if you google imtoo avi to dvd, download the free trial, then first time you use it will ask for registration. Copy and paste the following.
I bought Nero 7 premium last year and haven`t managed to burn AVI to DVD. I must be doing something wrong.
Have you any advice for me pauln90 ,how to go about it the right way? I`d be grateful for any advice.
I had Nero 6 installed on computer when I bought it and upgraded to 7, but wish I`d never bothered. Only thing I use it for is copying disc to disc.
With nero all I do is use the "Make your own DVD " option.
Import the movie and then let it recode and burn. It can take one and a half hours in total so I usually do this in the evenings when I'm not using the PC.
I have tried using Win Avi converter but this gave a poorer quality film than Nero. Also it takes an hour to recode and then you have to burn it.
Thanks pauln90 I`ll give it a try. Just doing one with bronners suggestion ,sothink, it`s been running for over two hours, with another 30 mins. to go, but imtoo takes ages as well, so I`ll give nero another try. Must say imtoo is always good quality, you can choose quality in options.
