can i convert a microsoft works document to a word document

If you have word (I don't think works can do it)
open the file in word (most word versions should be able to do this) - mine can open works .wps files versions 6-9

then goto file | save as - and use the save as type box to select the version you want

Easily, Just copy the works document and paste it to a new word document. I just tried it to see and it works!
