Somebody told me to get 2nd editin of above regret I cannot remember who it was and cannot find it now.
I have got my old copy back from GD but I cannot find any reference as to what edition it is.. Going to town on Saturday so will buy the latest edition that I can, does it tellme how to use the external drives? Many thanks in advance. Not sue where anyone lives, me in the sticks West Wales, so now you know why I am so thick with PCs

(If you hadn't got the old one back ... that would be a different matter - but the dummy books are good for a few weeks ... and then tend to be too basic .... so no need to throw your money into it.
read the one you have .... as long as you stick with it.
the world hasn't changed that much ....
in the "how to" market there are lots of second editions .... mainly dealing with Vista
and probably not with external drives .... think of it as a second drive .... and files, folders and drive letters are the same
