Win XOP Firewall...

No matter is select or deselect a programme to be blocked, the programme still runs. For example if I ask it to block anything incoming for MSN Messenger, MSN messenger still works.

Any ideas??

windows xp firewall isn't a fully featured firewall all it is designed to do is block all inbound packets, unless those packets are in a direct response to a query that was sent out from the machine
