Back Up Important PC Documents

Hello
My laptop is over a year old now and so decided to back up some of my files. I am using windows vista so just used the backup wizard, but all i want ot backup is my music and photos, nothing more. So is there a easier way of doing this , can i just copy my "My Documents" onto a disk or will this not work. Because the backup seems to be having problems, It is taking forever and keep saying the backup cant finish :S and just taking forever.

Yes it is very easy to put all your music, photos etc,onto discs.

Just highlight those folders you wish to copy, and choose copy the selected items, it will then give you the option of where to copy them to.
