Task Bar&Start panel

Task bar and Start panel were always horizontal and at bottom of Desktop. Now they have appeared vertical at the right hand side. I want them back horizontal.

Right click on task bar and ensure the line 'lock the taskbar is unchecked then you will be able to left click and hold the button down whilst you drag the task bar back to the bottom.
