Software Problems
2 Answers
Hi,
A games CD I have been successfully using for over 2 years has suddenly given me a warning message that it needs to run in 256 mode. I haven't changed any settings - I wouldn't know how to. Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this please?
Thanks in advance for any help.

if so simply click with the *right" mouse button anywhere on the background of the desktop and select properties on the menu that pops up.
Then select the settings tab at the top of the window that will come up and on that page change the pull down menu labeled color quality (or maybe color depth) to 256 colors click ok and then try the game.

Thanks for sending this information but when I carried out your instructions I found that the only options were -Medium (16bit) or Highest (32bit) Also alongside this it said Screen resolution 1280 by 1024 pixels.
Hope you can tell me how to fix this problem and perhaps what might have happened to cause the software to act in such a bizarre way?
