Very very slow

My laptop is getting slower and slower tonight. In TAB tech to comps is taking 4.5 mins and the same going the other way to read answers. I have done nothing or installed anything just switched it on as usaul. Any ideas. TIA

Sorry frosty.... some peeps do seem to be having a lot of problems on here tonight... personally, I blame cornflakes...
