Removing Norton 360

Hi. I bought a new laptop that had a trial version of Norton 360 installed on it. Now the trial 60 days is over and Im using an alternative virus protection.
But I cant get rid of Norton.
Ive tried all the usual stuff - remove programmes, deleting the folder etc and am told I dont have authorisation to remove it. The pop up reminder to subscribe keeps coming up on the screen all the time. Its so annoying! Help please!
