How do I download drivers

I need to download the drivers for my printer to run on a computer with microsoft vista on it. As I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers I can not remember wether I should choose the save or run option and what I need to do afterwards. Please help as my daughter cannot print her homework up!

Little more info on the printer would be helpful?
Also what Vista you running 32bit or 64bit?
Generally, if you've found the drivers you need online then download and 'save' them on your computer. Once 'saved' find the file and run it. Very often the download is in the form of a 'zip' file, in that case you need to extract them first into a temporary file.
Find the file labeled something like 'setup.exe' and left double click it and installation should start.

Thanks I think I had figured it out by digging deep in some long forgotten memories and I hope I have correctly loaded the drivers needed from the epson website. I have no idea what vista I am running all I know it is a version of vista premimum? I said I was a complete idiot remember we never had computers when I was at school we were not even allowed to use calculators, they would have cost too much!!!!!!!
