Firewall blocking Firefox

This is weird but... just looking around on answerbank opened Google in another tab & got 'Firewall has blocked certain aspects of this program window , ....... Firefox '. I closed it & then looked in security center & Firefox is not checked as allowed through in exceptions . Haven't changed anything , still using Firefox now . WTF?
