Lexmark z33 Printer and Vista Ultimate
2 Answers
Hi, I am having problems loading the cd software onto my new computer. I have been on the Lexmark website and there is no Vista U. on there. Am I correct in thinking that Vista does not support my printer and it is time for new one? Thanks

It's not surprising that you can't get a driver .... in fact what is surprising is that there is a XP /2003 driver.
but I suspect that with a release date of 2001 it will be a 16bit driver ... which vista won't touch)
agree with chuck - 2003 might
(but server has a different adgenda ... so may well not)
if you have the time work your way through the list of lexmark printers - you could even e-mail the lex tech support .... (it's free!)
finally .... and I don't suggest this lightly ....
consider a new printer....
colour has come a long way since then ... You'll be surprised at the difference in quality.... a good printer could cost less than 50.00 (which is easier to say if you don't have less than 50)
if you don't need colour ... consider a laser (again things have changed) - or if you'd like colour ... but don't use it often ... again consider one of the new cheap colour lasers (running costs are lower than inkjet ... but the initial investment in ink is higher
(check before you buy)
