missing copy to cd

when i bring up my pictures on my computer in the left hand box there are instructions like copy, rename etc..there also used to be the instruction copy to cd I used to highlight a group of pictures and in the bottom rh corner of computer instructions used to show as files waiting to be written to cd both of these instructions have vanished please can anybody tell me how to get them back someone mentioned the register all above my head simple instructions please or do i have to take to the local repair shop

open your pictures window click on the tools menu, select folder options and then select "show common tasks in folders" click ok
