CD burner

Hello,

I do hope someone can help. How can I find out if this PC has a CD Re-writer, that burns CD's.
I don't really know the terminology or what I'm talking about, so I would like any answers to be simple.

Only I've tried using a re-writing (?) package, but it did not work. Is there something I need to click on to check ??

Try clicking on my computer, then look in devices with removable storage for your cd drive, right click on it and choose properties, then click hardware , it should tell you there eg. mine says CD/DVD-R

or just look on the front of the drive, door, most CD rewriters will say that they are on them
