transfering music

hi , i want to put some tracks on my mp3 off this disc that contains lots of music, most of the time its ok but a lot of the tracks are just listed as track 01, 02 etc and it wont let me put it on when one already exists with same no as it asks me if i want to replace it with new one. i was told you can rename it so it will go on but now its saying when ive renamed it , cannot rename 01 ( or whatever no ) as files on this cd are read only so is there any way around this or not. if there is could it be explained easy please as still learning. regards .

You can't rename files on CD, you have to copy them to your hard drive then rename them and then copy to your MP3 player
