how do i get my photo's from my samsung e350 to my laptop by usb lead?

Very impressive machine. Does it make your coffee in the morning too?
Usually the memory on phones is recognised by a computer as a USB storage device (the same as a flash pen) where you can drag and drop.
Double click on 'My Computer' and plug the phone's USB lead in. In a couple of seconds you should see another drive appear. Double click that and cut or copy the image files from there.

If you're on a decent plan why not email the photos to yourself.
