Ripping Music

Last Night I was ripping some music from CD using the media player, as I have done many times beffore, Some of the discs were my own recordings done on an audio CD recorder so had to sit and manualy type in track titles. However When ripping one of my own recorded CDs the pc kept shutting down and restarting as the last two tracks were being ripped. I tried a couple of times but the same thing happened, I have ripped other discs of this type before with no problems. If anyone knows why this is happening, I would be very greatful for an answer.
