Is it possible to copy and paste a selection where it ignores hidden columns ? All the methods I can think of result in it pasting the hidden columns.

I have tried pasting the results in Notebook which doesn't paste those hidden columns but I'd rather find a solution within Excel.

Cheers

Highlight your data selection

Go to menu Edit/Goto/Special/Visible Cells Only

Then Copy and Paste.
Just as an afterthought, if you are going to be doing this a lot, you can actually make the Select Visible Cells command visible on your Edit toolbar.

Just go to Tools/Customize/Commands. If you highlight Edit in the left window, this will give you a list of commands in the right window. Just drag Select Visible Cells from here onto your Edit toolbar.

Thanks Bushwhacker. I've stuck it in a macro and it works perfectly.
