My sons laptop

I dropped my sons hard drive from his laptop. I bought him a new one, he has put two versions of windows on it but they are both scrolling extremely slowly. Bearing in mind the rest of the 80gb hard drive is empty.
Any suggestions folks?

Yep you've got the default windows graphics drivers installed for the video card.

Goto the lappys manufactures website search the support section for graphics drivers for the model of laptop and download then run the driver file to update the driver.

Restart and all will be well (you'll have to do the same for each version of windows)

get all the other available drivers as well ! chipset, sound, mouse, wireless, bluetooth, usb blah blah .....
