Is it possible for me to use VNC to control an XP box from a Vista (Home Premium) box? I've tried Ultra and Tight but can't seem to connect....

should think so...

but why not use the built in windows remote desktop.

Right click on my computer on the XP box and click on the remote tab and put a tick in the box that says allow user to connect remotely to this computer and click ok

Then on the vista box clilck start and run and type in mstsc and hit enter... type the IP address of the XOP box into the window that pops up and away you go.
