Internal hard drive web sites?

I'm looking for a well priced reliable hard drive for my desktop PC. any good web site for me to peruse. Looking for larger than 40Gb

There are 2 types of connector for an internal hard drive.

Newer PCs (2 or 3 years old) will probably have a Sata connector, 3 or more years old and it is probably an IDE connector.

You need to find out what connector yours has before you buy it as they are not interchangable.

Hard to buy a 40Gb hard drive nowadays (and almost impossible to buy anything less than 40Gb).

For just a few pounds more you can get a 250Gb drive.

dont know if they are still available, but im sure they have plenty of others
80Gb for under a tenner isn't half bad - worth thinking about

but a HDD is a HDD
use google shopping to find hitachi, seagate, toshiba .... or whatever turns you on - .... and go for the cheapest ....remember the postage costs - good deals shift - so you have to shop around.
