worldwide telescope-how to use damn thing!

downloaded m/soft worldwide wide telescope.can see nothing but lines and blackness.according to what it says,i need to install ASCOM PLATFORM and DRIVER.i've done that!!still nothing.missing something obviously but no idea what.any suggestions welcome.thanks

tried everything-except hitting computer with a hammer!!! the times i've felt like doing THAT! thanks anyway

I was going to try it on my laptop .... and it's not good enough!!!

how about you - what spec are you using? -- it needs a pretty beefy machine
